I’ve always wanted to live and work in Egypt. This school sounds like an interesting place to work for teachers who have experience with the English National Curriculum. Cairo English School is a member of Educational Services Overseas Limited (ESOL) and was founded in 2004. It provides educational services for students from the ages of 3 to 17. CES is located in New Cairo just east of Cairo. Curriculum
CES uses the English National Curriculum that is modified for use in an international setting. Students start with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and progress through the English National Curriculum to the IGCSE at the end of Year 10 and then have a choice of taking A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme. CES offers the Arabic national curriculum for national students.
Extracurricular Activities
Cairo English School provides students with a variety of activities including dance, swimming, design technology, music, basketball, tennis, golf, volleyball, drama, science club and more. School sports teams compete with other schools in the area.
Technology
Most classrooms have interactive whiteboards and computers. CES has three ICT suites.
