The International School of Prague was established in 1948. It is a non-profit, day school that provides educational services for students from ages 3 to 18. ISP is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Council of International Schools. It is an IB World School.
ISP has over 800 students that represent 60 countries.
Mission
The ISP mission is to inspire learners for life. That includes teaching them to work both independently and cooperatively, think creatively and critically and act with compassion and integrity.
Facilities
ISP is located in a village that is part of Prague. It is a purpose-built facility that includes new classrooms, 2 gyms, a state-of-the-art library, 4 Mac computer labs, 4 science labs, a theater, a cafeteria, art rooms, music rooms, 2 tennis courts, 2 soccer fields, basketball courts and playgrounds.
The school’s curriculum is based on Understanding by Design. The curriculum is articulated and emphasizes an inquiry-based approach to learning. The curriculum is regularly under revision. Unit plans are available online. High School students graduate with a U.S. High School Diploma, and they may also study for the IB Diploma.
Extracurricular Activities
ISP has a wide range of after school activities. These include academics, arts and crafts, sports, cultural exchanges, student government and a variety of clubs.
Technology
All classrooms have internet access. The school has 4 Mac labs. IT use follows the National Education Technology Standards and is integrated throughout the curriculum. The Middle School has a 1-to-1 laptop program, the Elementary School has 5 laptop carts, and the High School has a 1-to-1 laptop program with Apple MacBooks. The school employs Information Technology Specialists.
Professional Development
The school has a PD committee, and teachers can apply for school funding for their professional development activities.

ISP is looking for teachers who have flexibility, a personal vision that is compatible with the school mission, a teaching credential, a minimum of 3 years experience, advanced IT skills, a “can do” attitude, experience integrating IT with teaching, and the desire to be a team player. About Prague
