The British International School of Cracow is an independent, privately-owned, co-educational day school for students from the age of 3 through 18. This is an IB World School with authorization to use the IB Diploma Programme. BISC was founded in 1995. It has about 160 students that represent 25 nationalities. Class sizes range from 10 to 20 students.

Facilities
The school is located in the center of Cracow. Among the facilities are an ICT room, a science lab, a music room, an art room, a library and a lunch room. The school gym, swimming pool and playground as located close to the school in a separate facility.
Curriculum
BISC uses the English National Curriculum for students from Foundation Stage through Year 11. Classes through Year 6 are taught in self-contained classrooms. Older students are taught by specialists. Secondary students take the International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE) or the General Certificate in Secondary Education (GCSE). Following this, the IB Diploma Programme is offered for students in Years 12 and 13. Teachers’ lesson plans are available for downloading on the school website. BISC offers EAL classes for students who need help with English.
Extracurricular Activities
BISC offers a range of activities that include roller-blading, ice-skating, ballroom dancing, chess club, computer club, football, board games, music, drama and more.
Technology
Information Communication Technology is taught as part of the regular curriculum to students from the primary years up through the IB Diploma Programme. The school has an Interactive Whiteboard Room.
