The Pan American School of Bahia is a private, co-educational day school for students from pre-school through Grade 12 that was founded in 1960. The school has a 180 day school year and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. Pan American has over 600 students with approximately 75% coming from Brazil; the rest of the student body represent over 20 nationalities.

Curriculum
The school has a college preparatory curriculum that is based on American standards and teaching methods and integrates this curriculum with the Brazilian curriculum. About Salvador
