The British School Warsaw is an independent, co-educational day school for children from 2 through 18 years of age. TBS Warsaw is a Nord Anglia school. TBS Warsaw was founded in 1992. There are over 700 students that represent more than 60 nationalities studying at TBS Warsaw. This is an IB World School with authorization to use the IB Diploma Programme. The Council of International Schools accredits TBS Warsaw.
Mission
The school mission is to provide a safe academic environment that gives students the opportunity to develop their academic and personal skills so that they develop respect for themselves and others.
The school has two purpose-built buildings in a residential district of Warsaw. One building houses the Pre-Nursery, Reception and Year 1; the second building houses Years 2 to 13. Both buildings have bright, modern, fully equipped classrooms. Facilities include playgrounds, gyms, libraries, science labs, technology labs, music rooms, art studios, a dining hall and outdoor recreation fields.
Curriculum
TBS Warsaw uses the National Curriculum for England and Wales. Students in Years 10 and 11 prepare for the IGCSE examinations that they take at the end of Year 11. Students in Years 12 and 13 take the IB Diploma Programme. The curriculum is available online.
Extracurricular Activities
TBS Warsaw offers students a wide variety of activities that include drama, computer club, choir, chess, math facts, netball, singing, gymnastics, basketball, hockey, swimming and more. School athletic teams take part in international competitions.
Technology
The school has several IT labs. ICT is part of the regular school curriculum.
Professional Development
As with all IB schools, teachers are offered PD opportunities.

The school doesn’t give much information on employment other than to say that they are interested in hearing from enthusiastic teachers who want to live and work in Warsaw.
